Catching Up

I just looked at my blog and realized it was time to update. Unfortunately there isn't much to report. Last week my mom and I ran off to California to see my grandparents. It was a nice retreat. The weather was fabulous, and it is so green there right now. It gives me hope that the brown barren winter of Reno won't last forever. It is always so nice to see my grandparents. We enjoyed a little shopping, lunches out, and good conversation.

When I got home I had to get busy prepping for the Stake RS Enrichment Activity. I was in charge of the brunch for 200. I believe it was a success, I served a new recipe, Overnight Blueberry French Toast (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Overnight-Blueberry-French-Toast/Detail.aspx) and was nervous it wasn't going to work out. We ended up having roughly 175 women, a good turn out and not a lot of left overs. Happy it is finished. I spent the rest of the weekend, laying low, always nice to relax after a busy event.
